Zoko Collective is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the widely recognized standard for making web content accessible.

What we’ve done

The site has been built and tested so that it can be operated entirely without a mouse, with visible focus indicators throughout. We have verified color contrast across the site, written descriptive alternative text for images, labeled all form fields for assistive technology so that errors and confirmations are announced aloud, and tested with a screen reader rather than relying only on automated tools. Content remains usable at 400% zoom, and animation is reduced for visitors whose devices request it.

Known limitations

Our private events inquiry form is provided by a third party. We have improved its accessibility where we are able to, and we have raised remaining issues with the vendor. If you have difficulty using it, please contact us and we will take your inquiry directly by phone or email.
